Lord Jesus Christ, you have given your servant Francis Xavier Ford to your Church as an outstanding example of one who followed your call to announce the Good News to the entire world. Through his example, strengthen our desire to be evangelizers by proclaiming and sharing your Gospel.
Bishop Ford was a witness to your passion and death in his own life and death; may we too be ready to give our lives for your sake.
O Lord, if it be your will, may your servant Francis Xavier Ford one day be declared a saint so that his example and witness may continue to inflame the hearts of all with missionary zeal.
