Slowly, the ranks have grown of men and women of the United States recognized by the Catholic Church as Blesseds. Soon the number of Blesseds may match the number of Saints. American Saints and Causes welcomes the day when all the holy men and women highlighted in its pages appear in the Saints’ Main Chapel, but until then, here in the Main Chapel of the Blesseds of the United States are the men and women of the United States that are one miracle away from being recognized as Saints by the Catholic Church. From here you can access pages on each Blessed to learn about their unique witness to Christ and find prayers to seek their intercession. Maybe the prayer of a visitor to American Saints and Causes will be the basis for the miracle leading to their canonization!
